The Holiday Season has arrived! (or I guess I should say almost). But the picture season has most definitely arrived. Leaves are changing color and more photographers are out snapping away! So why not be part of it? Persnickety is running a Holiday Portrait Special for only $90, an amazing price! The major perk about the package is me coming to you! You do not have to wait in line or worry about showing up on time.

When we are finished shooting, I will weed through any pictures that may have bad lighting, blurring or someone blinking. Then we will meet up again so you can choose your favorite 15 and which images you would like to be printed.

This is an incredible deal and I hope you all take advantage of it! Happy Holiday's Everyone!

Second wedding out of the way!

My second wedding took place on October 9th. (So I do apologize for the late post!) It was a wonderful wedding. It was def. more of an intimate affair. Everything took place at the same location<---which on my end is perfect! The house was goregous, the ceremony was lovey and the reception was tons of fun!

Kevin and Julia were adorable together and were very happy! Congrats you two!

One wedding down!

One word to describe this wedding was: happiness. I would say love but that is such a given. Everyone there was filled with so much happiness and joy for Ashley and Corey. This marriage was a long time coming and I think I speak for everyone who was there that it couldn't have been more beautiful!

The bride, Ashley, looked stunning and the groom, Corey, looked quite handsome! The ceremony was very focused on the marriage and that the LORD was blessing them with each other. The ceremony itself was so serious that I was not allowed to take any pictures throughout. Which personally, I was bummed out about but it turned out ok!

Overall, it was a beautiful wedding, filled with happiness!

Rylie Noelle and Mommy...

Or you could call it a maternity shoot. Lakisha ( Rylie's Mommy to be) and I had a fun shoot on Saturday. For being due November 5th, I think Lakisha is looking great! She is so ready to welcome Rylie into the world!<---(I can't wait to take her pictures!)

About the shoot:
Started in her house in different areas but mainly where the natural light was shining in. It took a couple of try's to get the right settings on my camera to work but when it was all said and done the pictures turned out great!

We then proceeded outside to take a few more shots, but that ended up being atleast 150 more shots that turned out gorgeous. The lighting was perfect and Lakisha looked so pretty! I was very happy with the outcome.

Can't wait for my next maternity shoot!

Sadikshya

We had a great time today shooting! Sadikshya and I go way back! And we hadn't seen each other for awhile so the shoot was a good excuse to catch up! I didn't realize how much I had missed being around her! She really knows how to make anyone smile.

So about the shoot...let's just say it was a very short one. She was dressed in a gorgeous sari, that took quite some time to put on! So we were crunched on time once she arrived but I think the end result was completely worth it. In total, it lasted about minutes but we were able to get about 40 pictures out of it.

The editing is still in progress, but of course I had to get some done! I stuck with the typical b&w, blue tones, and adding saturation to most of them. I really didn't want to do too much with the pictures only because the sari was so pretty (and so was Sadikshya) that all the extra editing was not needed.

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!!

What's next?

A question that should go without being answered. I have learned very well thanks to yesterday!
( got my keys locked in the car and had to pay a locksmith the money I had put aside for my husband's birthday) "Plans are made to broken" " If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans." etc. Tons of quotes about making plans and having them ruined. I was so frustrated with myself but stuff happens, you cry about it, then you have your mother basically tell you to get over it and go on with your day. <----(She has no pity!)

I am so excited about all that is planned this coming up fall/winter. I just so hope and pray that everything will fall through. And if they don't for some reason, I will just have to laugh because that's all we can ever do!
